What data we collect
- Contact information you give us when you write or call — name, email, phone/WhatsApp, and the content of your messages.
- Health information you provide during the intake process and health questionnaire. This is sensitive personal data and we treat it with particular care.
- Usage data via analytics cookies — only if you consent (see our Cookie Policy).
Why we use it, and our legal basis
- To respond to you and provide information about our retreats.
- To assess, together with you, whether a retreat is safe and appropriate — based on your explicit consent for processing health data.
- To understand and improve the website (analytics) — based on your consent.
Sensitive health data
The information in the health questionnaire is strictly confidential, used only to determine whether ayahuasca is safe for you, and is not shared outside our organization. We process it only with your explicit consent, which you may withdraw at any time.
When you submit the health questionnaire on this website, your answers are sent directly to our team by email — they are not stored in any database on this website. We keep them only for as long as needed to prepare and carry out your retreat, and then delete them.
Sharing & international transfers
We do not sell your data. We use a small number of service providers to operate the site and communicate with you (for example, website hosting and email, and analytics if you consent). Because some providers operate outside Peru, your data may be processed internationally with appropriate safeguards.
How long we keep it
We keep your data only as long as needed for the purposes above, or as required by law, and then delete it.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data, and withdraw your consent at any time, by emailing info@ayaselva.com. Under Peru's Personal Data Protection Law (Ley N° 29733) you may also contact the Autoridad Nacional de Protección de Datos Personales. If you are in the EU/UK, you have rights under the GDPR/UK GDPR, including the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Children
Our retreats and this site are intended for adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
Changes
We may update this policy. The latest version will always be published on this page.
